Matt Brown of the Alaskan Bush People is showing off his new look, and supporters are responding positively to his updated style choice.

Matt Brown of Alaskan Bush People accidentally gave himself a new haircut, and now followers can't stop raving about his new look. For the most part, the oldest child of Ami and Billy Brown has kept to himself as he lives on top of a mountain in Loomis, Washington. However, he is now sharing what he has been up to after being on a hiatus.

The oldest of the Wolf Pack has been lying low since he left the family show for greener pastures. Alaskan Bush People viewers have watched Matt struggle with his sobriety, eventually seeking out help in California. Many have also kept up to date with his scandals, which have included being accused of raping two women. The Discovery Channel had no other option but to let Matt go, and ever since he has been living his own life in quiet solitude. Every so often, though, Matt treats his followers to a social media update, and they are never disappointed.

In early June, Matt took to Instagram to share that he had been in town to buy hair clippers. While wearing a hat, he told his fans that he needed a new trimmer and decided to try it out when he returned home. The Alaskan Bush People star revealed that he actually had taken too much off the front and had to commit to shaving his whole head. Fans were sad to see Matt had lost his curls, but they eventually embraced his new look. Matt shared that the accident was a "bummer" but then revealed to fans that he realized he needed to practice acceptance by saying, "this thing happened." Matt went on to say that he had to take care of the messed-up hair and not be upset or sad about what had occurred.

Matt revealed he was practicing Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) since it was a form of cognitive behavioral therapy, which the star explained is about changing the way we feel by changing the way we think. Alaskan Bush People supporters took the comment to urge Matt Brown on and send positive vibes. Many felt the new haircut suited him and that he looked handsome. The ABP star even joked that it would be a little while before he needed to use his clippers again since it takes a year for hair to grow just six inches.

In March, Matt celebrated being two years sober. Even amid the death of his father, the Alaskan Bush People star is trying his best to move forward with the tools that will help him succeed. Unfortunately, he is still on the outs with most of his family and often speaks about their issues. For now, Matt will continue working on the farm and contemplate how much longer until he can run his hands through his hair again.
