The mile-long parade route was jammed with units and spectators for about three hours Monday under mostly sunny skies.

There were five divisions, including one completely filled with 15 Zem Zem units. “It’s always nice when we get the Zem Zem Shriners to participate,” Thompson said.

While the parade and the Food Truck Festival went off without a hitch, there was a snag at the end of the annual fireworks display.
